i look into myself and see a pond
a pond with many ripples
many stones lay at the banks
and with these stones, i cast a path
with each stone, the birth of a new ripple.
each stone sinks and stays in the muck,
to harden and show for its presence.
many of these stones are light and give no sorrows
while others are large and may be difficult to carry.
if you take the bright stone,
the one that becomes weightless to the touch
you will be scared,not knowing,
and are limited to the stones you may cast.
for each stone casted against the light
you will be punished by this stone of lies,
its luster is nothing more than wet moss that grows upon it
it is just a way to feel protected
from the weight of the many stones.
either stones you choose will not matter,
the more you send to the bottom the higher the waters rise
soon to dry, you cast less stones
only to watch the ripples fade
knowing that the wave towards the end will mark the land
you can only watch them as they do so.
when this pond is gone
only the stones and exstict ripple remain
if you have thrown the moss covered stone
you have been lied to.
if it still lies on the sand you shall not be worried
while you float through the air
you laugh at the others
you see no moss on the bank
yet you see the shimmer from below the waves.
though we may all be casting stones in a pond of our own
none have the same stones.
its is best to throw only the stones that threaten the land
waiting for the end, for the the pond to vanish
you cast another stone.... the next may be your last.
